The next Super Bowl to be hosted by New Orleans is SB XLVII, slated to be played in the Superdome on February 3, 2013. It will be the 10th SB played in New Orleans; the 7th in the Superdome (the most of any NFL stadium).

It is unlikely that Philadelphia will ever host the Super Bowl unless an enclosed stadium is built in the city. The NFL has stated that a Super Bowl will not be played in a cold-weather city in an open-air stadium. Considering that a new open-air stadium was opened in Philadelphia in 2003, a Super Bowl in Philadelphia will not happen for the forseeable future.
