In the trade that brought Paul Coffey to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1992, the team acquired him along with forward Dave Hunter and a draft pick. The Penguins traded away defenseman Jeff Chychrun and forward Adam McQuaid to the Detroit Red Wings in this deal.
