Not really. Some schools may play it but it's mostly unheard of. The types of sports you find in English schools are Rugby for the boys and Netball for the girls, with both usually playing football - though perhaps the boys more so! - and tennis, Badminton, hockey and other such sports played and encouraged too.

Guys are allowed to play Vlleyball in high-school, It depends on your education institution if they do Extra Curricular sport such as Volleyball. Volleyball may not be available to you to participate in school.
