As a huge Baseball lover, Football sadly takes over the fame of the baseball players. If you notice you barely ever see college baseball being a huge success of TV, College Football always is. Its always been that way including back in the day when the managers were going to just give up on baseball since not a whole lot of people were interested anymore. Hope this answers it!

no not really, back in 1931, there was one girl who played for the Cinncinati Reds who struck out Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig back to back, also, just recently, there was a Japanese girl who almost signed a contract with the Detroit Tigers, but ended up signing with a Japanese team instead, so, not long now before girls start playing baseball now
