Rodney Harrison has never tested positive for steriod use in his NFL playing career. However, last year he was suspended from the NFL for violating the Steroid Policy because his name came up in connection with the purchase of HGH, Human Growth Hormone. Harrison admitted that he used the HGH in order to help recover from a major knee injury, sustained the year prior. Technically HGH is not a steroid, but Harrison did violate the NFL's ban of performance enhancing drugs.
