In the early 1980s, I purchased a pair of dried bull bulls balls from a shop in New Mexico. There was a tag on it that called them "bullies". The balls are empty and it has a leather strap at the top. The strap is used to hang the balls on your wall. The tag on it listed things that could be stored inside the sac.

The camera strap allows photographers to have their camera ready to use at a moments notice instead of having to carry it around in a bag. Or free up their hands to perform other tasks between taking photos. It also helps stabilize the camera when one must change lenses or film.
I keep my wrist watch in there after removing the strap.
There is only 1 syllable in "strap."

I own a 3DS and I would say its a little more easily breakable then the DSi. Here are my worst drops on the Nintendo 3DS. I've dropped my 3DS on a hard floor on a bus before and the back was scratched not to badly but it was all fine, no screen damage. but now i cover the back with a game skin. I've dropped my 3DS off a table onto a carpet and it was all fine no scratches, no screen or camera damage. I can say the 3DS is not to easily broken but a tiny bit more breakable then DSI's. I've only dropped my 3DS 4 times ever launch day and it's still working perfectly. But if dropping it worry's you you can buy a wrist strap a bit like the Wii which you strap on you and if you let go of the 3DS it won't fall.
