Sure the do!
Well for one, since it's a pro sport and all, there's always some sort of beer company involved, advertising their product. Another are those professional er.. basketballs? And the people who polish the Basketball court polish/wax it. Well how does all of this help the economy? WELL:
Beer: It's advertised, and when the viewers see it they will probably buy that brand (Budweiser)
Basketballs: Self explanatory, people buy professional brand basketballs, and if its used in the NBA then of course they're going to buy it.
People who polish / wax the basketball court: They get paid to do their job right? Thing is, they're going to spend it on things for themselves and for their families, which helps the economy because they SPENT MONEY.
Hoped I helped! :)
