Superglue is often used to quickly treat a cut - it forms an airtight seal over the wound, and the glue itself is not absorbed by the body. However, not all referees accept this as a valid way to stop bleeding as it pertains to the Laws of the Game, and added to the possible risk to the player's health, it's not a recommended, but nonetheless accepted, way to handle blood.
