It's a huge country filled with hundreds of cultures and pretty much every terrain on earth besides tropical. Just like in the US where hockey is bigger in the northeast than in the southwest for obvious reasons. soccer is huge all over the world so that's normal. I don't know if hockey is as big in Russia as we think. They are a very athletic minded people and Russians have their hands in most sports.
Russians are second most dominate at hockey in the world behind Canada obviously and they have produced incredible players like *Alex Ovechkin *Tretiak *The Bure's TO name a few.

Russians generally enjoy socializing with friends and family, traditional Russian cuisine, outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing, literature, music, and watching sports like football and ice hockey. They also have a strong appreciation for art, history, and cultural events.
Some of the sports Russians do are: basketball, Ice Hockey, and Bandy.
Plenty during the Soviet era. Since then, not that many...

Russians play several sports as well, most notably hockey and soccer. Russians have been fairly successful in hockey in particular, and during the height of the Cold War had several almost "unbeatable" teams, until the 1980 Winter Olympics when Herb Brooks and his "Miracle on Ice" defeated the Soviet team to go on and win gold in one of the most memorable American sports matches.
Field hockey and underwater hockey are the closest.
Because he doesn't like Russians.
Push hockey does not have air like air hockey does
They look like Russians because Romanians and Russians likely have shared ancestry. They are both white, except the gypsies because they came from other regions.
