well their is 20 twenty where each side gets 20 overs to bat and bowl, ODI which is 50 overs a side to bat and bowl. ODI stands for one day international and then their is test matches which can go on for 5 days both sides getting to bat and bowl twice. If at the end of the final day the last batting team is not out the match is a draw. Its complicated!
In One-dayers (50 over matches), each bowler can bowl maximum of 10 overs. This only changes when the D/L (Duck worth Lewis system) is applied is which case the number of overs decrease according to how many overs the game is changed to. In test matches there is no limit. In T20 (20 over matches) a bowler can bowl maximum 4 overs.
