No, thanks to a cheater to the name of Thierry Henry. The Irish would have qualified, because in the qulifying game they were up a goal, but then the French cheated. In ONE play, ONE, the ball was sent into the box, then there was to ofsides and three handballs -- THREE!!!!! Henry commited two of these blows to the Irsih National Side, stopping the ball with his hand and then pushing it down to hisfoot and assisting the goal. The Irish will pay them for it, though, because they have set up an organization that will go to every French game in the Cup, and boo the French and yell for whoever is playing against them.
