No. The Packers record in the 1999 regular season was 8-8. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were 11-5 that season and won the NFC Central. Minnesota was 10-6 and was a wild card team and the Lions were 8-8 and won the tie breaker to also be a wild card team.
yes
yes they did, they made it all the way to the NFC Championship game but lost to their long time rivals the Green Bay Packers.
No, now the Steelers have a VERY slight chance. The Packers however, have a pretty good chance of keeping the wild card spot because they have the advantage over Dallas, and and the next two games can be considered a given as the Seahawks are <.500 and the Cards will most likely rest the starters as they have clinched their division title. In 2009, the Green Bay Packers made the playoffs and lost in the Wild Card game to the Arizona Cardinals. The Steelers did not make the playoffs.
It depends on two things.... 1. What year will the Packers next be in the Super Bowl... 2. Who will have won the league playoffs to play against the Packers in that same year.... I think you are just a big Packers fan hoping that they will make it through the playoffs to be in the Super Bowl this year, good luck....
By mauling the Green Bay Packers
Yes, they did. They got the #2 seed in the AFC and a first round bye. They defeated the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets, but lost in Super Bowl XLV to the Green Bay Packers.
As of now the Vikes are 5-3. They are tied for second in the division with the Packers. Their last half of the season has them playing 5 teams over .500... Yes they can still make the playoffs but it's a long shot.
The 1999 Falcons wound up the regular season at 5-11 and did not make the playoffs. The 1998 team made it to the Super Bowl (XXXIII) and lost to the Denver Broncos, 34-19, on January 31, 1999.
No they didn't, the 49ers did not take first place in their division or make the wild card run. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers took the wild card spots and the Arizona Cardinals took first place in the 49ers division
The Green Bay Packers were founded on August 11th 1919. This would make them 94 years old now. Fast approaching the big 100th anniversary.
they make $1,000,000 a year squat
Depending upon whether the Chicago Bears finish with a better record, the Green Bay Packers might not even make the playoffs. Of course, there's always a chance they could grab the Wildcard, but I'm sure Packers fans don't want to have to rely upon chance. I believe if they can heal up and get some key guys back on the field, the Packers are one of the most skilled teams in the League. I'd give them a pretty good chance to take it all.
