No, girls are not allowed to wear helmets in America. In other countries it may be allowed but not in America. That is a contriverisial issued being debated for a few years. The people against helmets say that it will make girls more violen while playing Lacrosse. But girls can throw just as hard as guys can so if they get hit in the head it will have major damage to the skull and could result in death.
Edit: Just FYI, girls can't throw as hard as guys... Granted, SOME girls can throw as hard as SOME guys, but on average, guys shoot a lot harder. I would love to see girls play a full out game of mens lacrosse lol. That would be pretty intense.

yes, i would consider it a girls sport!
Answer:
There is no reason that girls can't play the game. Lacrosse is like hockey with no pads so most players have a wide variety of bumps and bruises after a game. The women's rules claim to make the game more gentle but the nature of the game allows significant accidental contact. There are national women's lacrosse associations in many countries.
womens lacrosse players dont wear a helmet cause they dont have to. In womens lacrosse, you cant do any body checks and you can only check the stick if its away from their head... so theres no need.
Yes they can if there is not a girl's lacrosse team for that age group. This is like a 3rd grade girl playing on a boys team because the only girls lacrosse team is 5th grade and up. Generally in high school or above girls cannot play- there would play on another high school's girls lacrosse team.
no, they can not hit in lacrosse. girls are allowed to hit the stick only if it is above the shoulder. if you are playing on defense, you are allowed to push against the stick with your stick very slightly but you need to keep your arms out staright, no bending and then extending to push the other girl's stick. if you are fighting for a ball, you may use your botox to push the other girl away or your hips. no hands or legs or sticks.
