Jordan never wore #19, but besides wearing #23 and #45, for one game against the Orlando Magic during the 1990-1991 season he wore number#12 after his uniforms were stolen from the vistor's locker room and wore #9 as one of the members of the Dream Team in the Olympics.

Yes, number 45 used to be his big brother Larry's number. Since he looked up to him, Michael wanted to be at least half as good as him, that's where 23 came from. After his dad was killed, he wanted to change his number so he changed it to 45. He also used this number when he played in the minor league for the White Sox. When he came back to Basketball, he changed his number back to 23.

In the Olympics, players can only wear the numbers 4-15. He wore 9. Why he chose that number...ask him.

He wore the number 12 once in a game against the Orlando Magic. His number 23 jersey was lost or stolen, and the 12 was available.
