Over more than one World Series the record is 33 2/3 innings by Whitey Ford of the New York Yankees. The streak started in the first inning of Game 1 of the 1960 World Series ... Ford threw shutouts Game 1 and Game 5. It continued in the 1961 World Series as he threw a shutout in Game 1 and 5 scoreless innings in Game 4 to extend the streak to 32 innings. It ended in Game 1 of the 1962 Series with two outs in the second inning.
