How complete? Bobby Charlton, Gary Lineker, Michael Owen, Alan Shearer are the top four. Then there are Jimmy Greaves, Nat Lofthouse, Tom Finney and another five or so before you get to Geoff Hurst, Wayne Rooney, Stan Mortensen, Tommy Lawton. Best of the lot is probably George Camsell, who scored 18 goals in only 11 internationals, but couldn't get a regular place because his rival at the time was Dixie Dean.

Bobby Charlton (49), Gary Lineker (48), Jimmy Greaves (44), Michael Owen (40), Alan Shearer (30), Nat Lofthouse (30), Tom Finney (30), Vivien Woodward (29), Steve Bloomer (28), David Platt (27) are the top ten. I think there's a couple more before you get to Geoff Hurst, Wayne Rooney, Stan Mortensen, Tommy Lawton (all around 23-25). Best goal to cap ratio is George Camsell, who scored 18 times in 11 internationals but had the misfortune to be playing at the same time as Dixie Dean (although Dean took 16 caps to get his 18 goals).
