You can as long as you are a citizen of N. Ireland. As it was your great grandparent then your parents need to be registered as a N. Ireland citizen by the time of your birth. If they were not then you will need to work in Ireland for 5 years under a work permit. This then entitles you to gain a N.Irish citizenship, and so you can play for N.Ireland
