No. It does not have the threaded holes to vent excess Co2 like tippmanns, which is what powers the cyclone feed. It also does not have the proper mounting holes to fit a cyclone feed, and drilling these holes would destroy the SP1. It also has a vertical feedneck which wont work with a cyclone feed unless you made some sort for custom mounting bracket
The SP1 is the better marker. For nearly the same price you get a better valve (spool valve) a regulator, full auto electronics, a better feed neck, and an in general better marker. The only advantage to the A5 is the cyclone feed, which shoots faster than a regular hopper, by using excess CO2. It also does not feed as fast as the sp1 can shoot an has a tendency to jam in the winter without squishy paddles.
No, only a Tippmann A-5 comes with a cyclone feed standard. However a Cyclone can be purchased that will fit the 98 Custom.
No. Hoppers meant for the cyclone feed will only fit the cyclone feed.
No, cyclone feeds are only for Tippman markers, because they have a small port on the side that allows excess Co2 to flow from the valve, to power the cyclone feed.
No it will not.
The cyclone feed increases the rate of fire on the 98 by using excess co2 to spin more balls into the chamber than is possible with a gravity hopper.
No. the cyclone feed should tap into the gas line already built in for a response trigger. you should be fine.
yes because it has no more moisture to feed it !
No, SP1 is included in the updates of SP2.
No, the mounting screws are different, it will not fit the 98. There is a 98/USarmy cyclone feed made that will fit.
Yes, as long as they are not the cyclone feed hoppers.
Everything except for cyclone feed hoppers.
