James o'connor (18) has a south African grandmother and two parents from New Zealand. having been born and brought up in Australia, he had the choice of all three countries as to who he wanted to play for. however, now he has picked Australia, i believe he has a contract meaning he would have to quit the ARU (Australian Rugby Union) before playing for Another Country. so the answer is yes. but not at the same time
