The Canton Bulldogs were a charter member of the NFL (then known as the American Professional Football Association). They were a team between 1920-1923, and 1925-1926. They were NFL champions in 1922 and 1923. Their best player was Jim Thorpe. They hold the NFL record for consecutive games played without a defeat at 25, however, there were 3 ties within that 25 game streak.
