This depends on the position. Point guards are generally the shortest on the floor, going from around 5'10" to 6'4". However, there are taller guards (Magic Johnson) and shorter guards (Earl Boykins). Shooting guards are generally taller than the point guards, but not a whole lot. Shooting guards are generally between 6'4" and 6'7". Small forwards are the middle sized players, going from around 6'6" to 6'11". Power forwards are usually the second tallest, but sometimes are smaller than the small forwards. Heights range from 6'8" to 7'0". Centers are the tallest on the floor. They usually range in height from 6'10" to anywhere above. However, all position players do not need to be the heights listed. If you are good, it doesn't matter how tall you are.
no
75 - 85 % of your height (some like it shorter and others like it taller; defencemen often uses taller sticks than forwards)
No, because giraffes are almost as tall as a tree
If you do sports (basketball / voleyball) and drink milk then yeah ;)
Small forward The small forward, or, colloquially, "the three", is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically somewhat shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers, but on occasion are just as tall. Perhaps "small" forward is a misnomer, then, as some of the top players at the position in today's NBA are anything but "small": for example, Rashard Lewis of the Seattle SuperSonics, Tim Thomas of the Chicago Bulls, and Hedo Turkoglu of the Orlando Magic all stand 6'10". Those players are usually exceptions, though, as most small forwards usually range between 6'5" and 6'11" (1.96
this dick
Larry Bird is a person and, at 6'9", he is taller than most ostriches and plays basketball better.
21 inches
well, in basketball the taller you are the better because you can jump high and block the ball from getting into the basket and letting your opponent score. in baseball u just need to be fast and catch the ball and have good trowing distance.
That's sort of a racist question. It's niether. A white person could be just as good, and some whites are taller than blacks.
If you are taller than your classmates, you are "tall for your age." If you can touch the top of an average doorway, you are "fairly tall" (5 ft 8 in or taller). If you can reach up and touch a basketball backboard, you are tall (6 ft 3 in or taller). If you can reach up and touch a basketball rim (10 ft), you are very tall (7 ft 2 in or taller).
