Cheer is harder. We are lifting 80-100 pounds in the air, doing death defying stunts, oh and guess what, we do everything dancers do. We have a huge dance in our routines, flyers spin themselves in the air, and do whole heel stretches and bow n arrows IN THE AIR! Also learning all sorts of tumbling skills, like fulls, tucks, and back handsprings. Cheer practices can last all day and you barely get a break. Yes I was a competitive dancer in my earlier years of life. Now Im a cheer leader and I am proud to be one for 5 years now. Cheer is so less toxic and nobody in the right mind would shame someone else on the team. We are a family. This is my opinion, please donβt come for me.
Dancing is a lot harder than cheer and i am not just saying this because i am a dancer you can get backhandsprings and other tumbling down in just months i know because i was a cheerleader, and dance it takes years to master not only the skill but the meaning when in cheer you just wink at the judges do a flip lift a girl and win, this isn't even a question dance is uch harder, and cheerleaders don't aargue because its true. (and dancers lift people and flip as well;])
Depends on the football player and the cheerleader. It's like any other relationship, its based on their personality. If they dont know the player than yes probably because they have to cheer for them but its not automatic. Just because you are a football player doesnt mean the cheerleader is automaticaly gonna like you.
No cheerleaders are more like the hype man while dancers are for your entertainment, but in this day of age Cheerleading is slowly but surely turning into more of a dancer-type style.
The Miami Dolphins have the most Cheerleaders.
As with their on the field counterparts, cheerleaders often dream of making it to the NFL. However, there are only 36 cheerleaders on a team at one time. This means cuts are steep and competition is extreme. Six teams in the league do not have cheerleaders at this time.
