∙ 10y agoEverything that is in motion has kinetic energy. The Baseball is no different.

∙ 13y agoWhen you swing a baseball bat you are converting potential energy to kinetic energy, when the bat makes contact with the baseball in transfers a lot of that kinetic energy to the baseball.

It doesn't after it's caught.

The kinetic energy the baseball player transfers to the baseball primarily comes from the player's muscles. The player's body converts chemical energy from food into mechanical energy, which is then transferred to the baseball when throwing it. The movement and coordination of the player's muscles generate the necessary kinetic energy for the throw.
Yes, an airplane in flight has kinetic energy because it is moving. Kinetic energy is the energy of motion, and an airplane's movement through the air represents kinetic energy.
because there is kinetic energy.
because there is kinetic energy.
The energy related to the movement is called "kinetic energy". Presumably, the moving baseball would be above ground level, so it would also have gravitational potential energy - assuming you choose to define the ground level as zero.
It has kinetic energy because it is moving. Just because it is in the air doesn't mean that it can't have kinetic energy.
Waves have kinetic energy because they move and propagate through a medium, transferring energy from one point to another. The energy of a wave is stored in its motion and the oscillation of particles within the wave, which contributes to its kinetic energy.
Kinetic energy is the energy a body has because of its motion.
Potential energy, because the energy in this process is produced through the use of the gravitational force of falling or flowing water.
An airplane flying has kinetic energy because it is in motion. The energy is derived from the airplane's engines, which provide thrust to propel it through the air. This movement generates kinetic energy due to the airplane's mass and its velocity.
Yes, a kite flying through the air possesses kinetic energy because it is in motion. Kinetic energy is the energy an object has due to its motion.
The boulder falling through the air has kinetic energy. This is the energy possessed by an object in motion.
