Hi It depends what you want your horse to do. If you arte having trouble stopping and your horse has a plain snaffle you could try a 3 ring snaffle on the lower rings or a dutch gag. For dressage a doiuble bridle is allowed in certain levels but a french link snaffle or and eggbutt snaffle would be better if not a double. Hope this helps.
First off, I wasn't aware a 4-ring modern bit existed. Usually you see 3-ring bits, used o horses that are two much for the rider and were not properly trained because the rider was not up to it. Anyway, since a 4-ring bit will flip a horse over, regardless if it is a french link or plain broken snaffle, who cares? Neither are 'stronger' than the other. A french link uses more tongue pressure than a simple broken snaffle. .
if it is strong then a 3 ringed gag or pellum if it isn't then something Ike a snaffle
There are differing opinions on this topic. Most people go with 2 years, as long as the bit is a broken snaffle with a thicker diameter. I never break my young horses until they turn 3 and will start them in a bozel and/or an eggbut snaffle with a larger diameter and hollow mouthpiece.
I just want to add a bit of information to my Question. Okay well i am looking for a stronger bit than the eggbut snaffle i am currently using. It needs to be diverse as my horse dosent need a strong bit in the school or in a field he knows but does when out hacking or cantering in a big feild he does not normally go in as he just bolts and i feel as if i have no control. He is a 16. 1hh irish thoroughbred who is 11 and is an ex steeple-chaser, Hunter and Eventer. I was thinking about a 3 ring snaffle or gag what do you think about this idea?
Yes! Indeed Neptune does have a ring system, although it's rings are so dark that it is hard to see them with a telescope. It has 5 rings. 3 are narrow rings and 2 are wide rings.
engagement, wedding,& the suffering ring!
There are 3: 1. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 2. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers 3. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
it all depends There are ten rings. According to Wikipedia: * 1 ring & 2 ring - white * 3 ring & 4 ring - black * 5 ring & 6 ring - blue * 7 ring & 8 ring - red * 9 ring & 10 ring - gold
Try a twisted wire snaffle or double twisted wire snaffle they make seem to be harsh bits, but with a proper hand they work wonders. Also, when you put the bridle on the horse, make sure there is 2-3 wrinkles in your horses mouth just above the bit. ~A horse of course :) ~
How long it takes a bell to ring 11 times depends on how long each ring is and the time in between the rings. For example, if the length of the ring is 10 seconds and there are 2 seconds between the rings, it would take less time than if the rings were 15 seconds with 3 seconds between rings.
All 3. They're their purity rings.
