Retired Numbers
The retired Red Sox numbers of Bobby Doerr (1), Joe Cronin (4), Johnny Pesky (6), Carl Yastrzemski (8), Ted Williams (9), and Carlton Fisk (27), along with Jackie Robinson's #42 that was retired by Major League Baseball in 1997, are posted on the right field facade in Fenway Park. (Jim Rice #14 joins the wall with his induction into the Hall of Fame 2009)
The Red Sox' policy on retiring uniform numbers is based on the following criteria:
- Election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame
- At least 10 years played with the Red Sox
- Finish his career with the club

Fenway Section C2 Row 17 is located in Fenway Park, the home of the Boston Red Sox. This section is situated in the grandstand area, specifically towards the left field side of the park. It offers a good view of the field, particularly for fans watching the game from a slightly elevated perspective. The exact location can be confirmed by checking a seating chart for Fenway Park for more detailed orientation.
Row HH in Fenway Park is located in the grandstand seating, which is situated further back from the field compared to the right field section B87B. While the exact distance can vary, typically, seats in Row HH are several rows above the field level, making them significantly farther from the action than the more front-row seats in section B87B. For precise measurements, it's best to check the seating chart or consult Fenway Park's official resources.
