The Disney Wide World of Sports is the main venue for spectator sports at Walt Disney World. It includes numerous facilities including: -Milk House: A 70,000 square foot indoor arena capable of hosting many events including basketball, wrestling and martial arts. -The Ballpark at Disney's Wide World of Sports: This is a 9,500 seat facility which hosts Atlanta Braves spring training every March. -Hess Sports Fields: These are multipurpose sports fields that can accomodate a multitude of sports including football, soccer, baseball and softball. The complex hosts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp starting in late July and lasting through most of August. The Disney World Wide World of Sports Website can give you information about what is happening during your stay. Check the schedule to see what events are planned during your stay. Also held at Disney World in early Novemeber (11/1-11/4 in 2007) is the PGA Tour Walt Disney World Resort Golf Classic (formerly the Funai Classic). The event is held at the Palm and Magnolia golf courses located near the Magic Kingdom, the Grand Floridian Resort and the Polynesian Resort. Disney World is also home to the Richard Petty Driving Experience, an actual stock car track where you can learn to drive a stock car or ride as a passenger. For driving lessons, you must be at least 18, have a valid driver�s license, and already know how to drive a stick shift. The Richard Petty Driving Experience does not operate on days competitive events are held at the track.
