Take the Red Line from Alewife to Park Street. At Park, go upstairs (take the WESTBOUND stairs) and get on any B, C, or D train to Kenmore.
There is no longer a Foxboro Stadium, it's Gillette Stadium. But yes. From downtown you take the subway, Orange Line, to the Forrest Hills stop. Then take the Franklin Line train to Forge Park. Then you can either walk or ride 4.7 miles to Gillette Stadium.
If you are coming from the Redline...Take it to park Street...Transfer to the green line and then take the green line to Kenmore Square
Newark Airport.
About 1 hour and 30 minutes
It's a 7 minute, 1.6 mile walk from Penn Station to 345 Park Ave. If you really would rather ride, you can take the E train to 53rd Street, but it will take longer and cost money.
Go to the train station at the airport. Take the train in the direction of Ayr - its every 30 minutes @ 15 past the hour and 15 to the hour. From Ayr station you can either walk to the Savoy Park Hotel (10 minutes) or take a taxi from outside the station
Well if it's East 28th St. you take the #6 train to 42nd St. uptown and change to the #4 train uptown to E.161st St. Yankee Stadium.
There is no way to do it directly as far as I know. You would take an Amtrak train from NYC with destination Boston, which will terminate at South Station. I would suggest you then ask for further info at the info desk, if it is manned. However, it is very simple even without doing that. Go downstairs to the MBTA part of the station, and get on a Red Line car for Alewife Station (i.e., going north). You only stay on that subway car for 2 stops - get off at Park Street station, go to the appropriate location for the Green Line (easily marked with signage), and wait for a car going to any of these: Cleveland Circle, Riverside, or Boston College. Get on for about 5 stops - check with the driver when you get on (front car) if in doubt - get off at Kenmore station and walk to the park (about 3 blocks). If you want to get just a bit closer, make sure you choose a Riverside subway train (at South Station) and then you can go one more stop past Kenmore to the Fenway station - a shorter walk over to the park from there.
25 miles taking this route:Take I-95 SOUTH, from Boston, to U.S. 1 SOUTH to FOXBORO off EXIT 9.Take U.S. 1 SOUTH to Gillette Stadium, in Foxboro.
The easiest way is to take a short cab journey.
You can take the Downtown R train from 34th Street-Herald Square (at 34th Street and Broadway) to west Brooklyn (the neighborhoods of Downtown Brooklyn, Boerum Hill, Gowanus, Park Slope, Greenwood, Sunset Park, Bay Ridge and Fort Hamilton).
