It depends on what jewelery you are wearing, what sport you play and many other circumstances. Typically, nothing bad or odd will happen. Other times the jewelery may cause a problem with the sport you play. Check with the umpire or supervisor whether or not it is ok to wear jewelery during your preferred sport.

Yes it can, well, in certain sports like football or Basketball. It's rough play and someone could say, pull at an earring, or could choke you of you ha a necklace on and they were say, trying to tackle you. I would suggest the rougher sports to be NO jewlery. But for more "peaceful" sports, like Golf, or croquet, it's perfectly fine.

Jewellery is a risk because the jewellery can get caught on things and cause limbs to be knocked off in severe cases.
