The tackle on this play was made by Philadelphia Safety Tim Hauck (University of Montana). Though, on the play Irvin saw Hauck coming and ducked his head to avoid a collision and struck his helmet on the astroturf at Philadelphia's Veteran's Stadium causing the injury.
