Strangely enough, The Avilla Panthers is the official school mascot at both schools for Avilla, Indiana and for Avilla, Missouri - both classified as "middle schools" grades K-8. Even more bizarre is the fact that both of the mascots look the same, which are images of blue panthers, because the school colors are the same too.
