According the their website, they are manufactured in Beaverton, Oregon. But there is an increase number of "fake" coming out of China, and Leupold will not service them and are not covered under their warranty.
If you think you may have one from China contact Leupold. Leupold employs serial number tracking for all its riflescopes, so if a customer finds a scope that is suspect, he or she can simply write down the serial number and call 1-800-LEUPOLD to confirm if it is indeed authentic.
