Women are treated differently then men. People think that women aren't as tough as men but some women are tougher than you think. I personally don't think it is fair that men make more than women in some sports. Both men and women play the same sport it is just a different gender playing that one sport.

Women make less mainly because the male sports bring in more money via fan support.

Take women's pro Basketball. Females are not as fast or athletic, and the games are really just a lay up drill, although many can shoot from distance. (They use the same rims, yet the women's ball is one inch smaller).
