"Peewee" just refers to the age group, like in hockey "peewee" is the group for kids twelve and under. Most programs have enough kids for more than one team at each level. The "A" team is more skilled than the "B" team at each level. Tournaments are also broken up into "A" tournaments and "B" tournaments, with the "A" teams being more skilled.
