Designing effective practice sessions help to keep the athletes interested in the sport and it also keeps them motivated. To have a good session you need to be able to incorporate technical development as well as simulated practices and competitive situations. The session has to be fun but challenging and coach also has to make sure that the athletes are learning the importance of new tactics and skills that they would have to apply in real game situations. Due to the fact that not all the individuals are the same the sessions need to be adapted to everyone's needs and the coach can try and spend one on one time with each player to make sure they are coping. The sessions should be used until the coach is happy with the improvement of his athletes and their progress.
