There have been several "Sandy"s and "Roberto"s in baseball. Two of the more famous were Sandy Koufax, a pitcher for the Dodgers in the 50s and Roberto Clemente of the Pitates in the 60s.
Sandy Koufax currently lives in Vero Beach, Florida. Koufax, a retired left-handed pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Los Angeles Dodgers, was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.

After retiring from baseball after the 1966 season, the 31-year-old Koufax joined NBC Sports as a member of the Major League Baseball broadcast team. Although Koufax had signed a 10-year contract with NBC to be a baseball broadcaster, he left before the start of the 1973 season. He often felt uncomfortable on camera.
