Ok there is the 4 point start. Meaning both hands and feet are on the ground (no blocks). Then there is a 3 point start, used mostly for the 40 yard dash (this is also known as the 40 yard dash 3 point start). For this you have your 2 feet and 1 hand on the ground. The other hand is raised back like you were going to grab something behind you. Note: You should be looking down. The last crouch start is a block start and is again a 4 point start.
