Outdoor games - advantages and disadvantages?

There are many advantages to outdoor games. Some examples are: warm weather, fresh air, sunshine, many different playing surfaces, less likelihood of damage to knees, etc on the softer playing surfaces, more space, more people can play, and more people can watch. Those were just a few examples.

There are also disadvantages. Some are: cold weather, bad weather, wet conditions can cause surface to be more slippery, a wet ball is harder to hold/catch, sun glare in ball games, many distractions, and sometimes too much space to cover.
