Sixty-six representatives of the Giants (55 players and 11 managers) have been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, more than any other team in the history of baseball. The Dodgers franchise is second (45 players, 9 managers) and the New York Yankees are third (41 players, 11 managers).
Three people were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2013: Jacob Ruppert, NY Yankees owner; Deacon White, catcher from the late 1800s; and Hank O'Day, umpire. So, there was only ONE baseball player amongst the three inductees in 2013. Amongst the players NOT voted into the Hall in 2013 were Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmeiro, and Sammy Sosa.
