The release makes the difference. Learn to release at the proper second and that can give you another 10 meters. The smoother the discus cuts the wind, the further it will fly, just like any saucer. Practice 20 minutes with a frisbee just to see if you can get it to fly without the wobble, then take a small pillow in your home and practice your turns and releasing it the same time and the same spot on a wall to give you accuracy.

There are several "right" ways to throw a disc. For a normal backhand throw, grip the disc with all four fingers under the rim gripping hard. Your thumb should press down on top of the frisbee, and the outer edge should be tucked into the palm. The run up should load your shot, swinging the disc parallel to the ground, 180 degrees from your target. As you plant your forward foot pivot and pull the disc through then snap the disc out aiming slightly to the left of the basket. If you are having problems try working on just one thing at a time. Also asking the better players at your local course for tips and opinions is a great way to learn faster.
backhand- hold the disc with your index finger on the rim and the rest under it. keep the disc straight and snap your wrist while putting your arm into it. Your arm goes across your body.
forehand- put your middle finger on the rim with your index next to it and the ring and pinkie finger on the inside rim. Snap your wrist. the disc is held away from your body (not across- right handed people hold the disc out to the right).
Hammer- The same grip as a forehand, but it is thrown at a 120 degree angle over your head.
Those are the three most common and basic ways, however there are a couple more.
you have discs for each distance (driver, mid, putter). you throw your disc, and it counts as a stroke. then you pick it up (dont walk with it) and throw it again. you finish the course when you get it into the chained Basketball net thingy
its important not to go too fast at the back of the circle. the first turn is just to get u in position for the rest of the throw.
