Sports, in general, can have both a positive and negative impact on students. Sports can instill the importance of hard work, teamwork, cooperation, and sacrifice. While these values are essential, participation in sports also comes with a price. Participation in school sport takes up an immense amount of time. Many older students are forced to choose between sports, or a job (and a sports car). Also, many students in sports have trouble finding time for church, homework, chores, etc. All-in-all sports are a great way for kids to make friends, stay healthy, and learn some of life's tough lessons; and with a little bit of time management and a lot of encouragement, sports can be a life-changing experience for any student with the will to succeed.
A sport by itself doesn't build anything. Coaches, teammates, refs, parents help build a child's character. Sports is a opportunity that can assist one's character training.

yes, kids need a socially active lifestyle AND a physically active lifestyle. It's healthy when they get outdoors and do sports, because it Builds team work and friendships. Helps you build your work ethic and values (hard work). Allows you to feel as a part of something bigger, keeps you out of trouble, and many sports/coaches promote good grades.
1. Industrial Revolution. - Need lotsa manpower to build them machines. - Need lotsa minerals to build them machines. - No man gonna do such dirty work, give it to the children! 2. Ideology - People had kids to help out in the farm - Kids were born - Kids help out in the farm - No more farm - Kids help out in other activites
not if its a sport game ;)
Children who are inexperienced in sports are slightly more likely to be injured playing sports because they are unfamiliar physically with the activity. The difference is minimal though, and athletics are a great way to build up strength and stamina in children.
