How are points scored in volleyball and what are the rules for earning points during a game?

Points in volleyball are scored when a team successfully lands the ball on the opposing team's court within the boundaries. A point is earned when the opposing team fails to return the ball or commits a fault, such as hitting the ball out of bounds or making a net violation. The first team to reach 25 points (with a 2-point lead) wins a set, and the team that wins three out of five sets wins the match.
