There is an independent pro team named Na Koa Ikaika Maui that plays in Wailuku, Maui. They play in the North American Baseball League and are not affiliated with any MLB team.

There was a team, the Hawaii Islanders, that played class AAA ball in the Pacific Coast League and were affiliated with several MLB teams. They played in Honolulu between 1961-1987 and moved after the 87 season to Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The University of Hawaii fields a baseball team and plays in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
