You could get stuck doing splits if you are not flexible enough to attempt them. Although, the condition is only temporary, it can be uncomfortable.

spread your legs apart and put your feet against a wall and have a friend push your body closer and closer to the wall. You will stretch your inner thigh muscles and be able to do the splits better.
