Men do not wear cups as part of the attire in gymnastics. They can wear two layers of clothing such as a sleeveless leotard with very short shorts or long pants depending on the routine they are doing.

no because they don't have testicles

I'm a girl and I do. I like the feeling of it.

Cups are only made for guys. Girls do not have extremely vulnerable sexual organs hanging between their legs. But some girls that play contact sports wear pads specially made to fit over the same area, except that it isn't shaped like a cup. Being a guy I don't know that much about them but I don't think many girls wear them. I do know that all guys need to wear a cup if they are in contact sports because getting hit in the balls is the worst thing that can happen to you (aside from cracking your skull or something).

Well, i wouldn't say that I like it, but I wear one for assurance that a ball won't hit me in the "thing". It wasn't very comfortable at first, but you get used to it.
