1. Late nights and weekends at games/practices.

2. Can get hurt if you don't catch the ball right

3. On sunny days, the sun can get in your eyes (sunglasses/hats!)

cons: ankle injuries, strained muscles

but seriously dont let the cons stop you from playing the game i have grown up playing the game and i have such a passion for it belive me any one who really tries will totally have sooo much fun!

-it is a very fun sport once you learn it, you will enjoy playing

-you become alot closer with your friends that are on your team

-it increases your hand eye coordination drastically

disadvantages:

-it may take 2-3 years to learn how to play and become a good player

-it's definitely not a lazy sport. you have to work very hard and try your best.

-alot of people make fun of you for playing softball because its a "wimpy" sport. then just tell them they are just jealous they don't have the skills you have. (:

You will learn how to think fast, meaning making decisions quickly.(for example: where you need to throw the ball to get the runner tagged out) You will be brave (not afraid of the ball/getting hit). You will be able to think properly (eg. Is it safe for me to advance to the next base?). You will also have good aiming skills (throwing the ball accurately into the glove). There are so many benefits in playing softball. There are even more benefits but here are some of them.
