If gay guys are more likely to be depressed than straight guys (which I think is probably not true), it would be because they're treated like sub-human freaks half the time purely because they love other guys. As for being at peace with themselves, loads of gay guys are. Those who aren't at peace with themselves are not because we live in a rabidly homophobic culture where a lot of people are taught that being gay is 'wrong' or 'sick'. If you'd been raised like that and then realised you were gay, would you be 'at peace with yourself'?

Usually, just like anybody else. This is why some gay men have great trouble finding gay friends, other gay men are just like everyone else and unless they tell you they're gay, you probably have no idea. Yup Yup its true but its complicated to say how gay men acst. surroundings is a very important factor. some gay men in the south chose not to come out due to the homophobia of southern people. but if a person grew up in a large city, then its much easier to be who they are without people caring.

Yes -- gay guys like sex with other guys. Other than that, we're pretty much the same as straight guys. We come in all shapes, colors and sizes. Some of us are shy and some of us are outgoing. Some of us have great senses of humor, others don't. Some of us like Rugby or Baseball, others prefer woodcarving or playing guitar ... you get the idea.

The only difference between straight (heterosexual) and gay (homosexual) men is their sexual/romantic attractions. Gay people are attracted to people of the same gender while straight people are attracted to members of the opposite sex.
