First, by having a skate park nearby, children would go and play there instead of skating in shopping malls and other dangerous places. If your child chooses to skate in one of those places they might knock an old person over because the elderly don't have as good hearing and eyesight as we do, making them more valuable. Secondly, And last of all, kids just want to have fun so why stop them? If you have a skateboard park in every suburb then kids will, in there spare time, just take there boards and play until they've had enough. Why cease all that?
