The Hub Roller Rink was advertised as being at 4510 N Harlem Avenue in Chicago, but was actually at said address which is in Norrridge, Il. It was located just 1 door north of the now gone but not forgotten Maurice Linnell cookie factory. RIP HUB, home of the finest pipe organ played expertly by the late Leon Berry, then by the late Freddy Arnish, Chuck Prewitt (don't know if living or dead) and in the 60's on Tuesday nights by the architect by day, organist by night: Don Born! Some of the old Hub-ers or Axle-ers (as the Hub was bought by the M & R entertainment company) still skate today in 2012 at the Orbit Roller Rink in Palatine and at the Lombard Roller Rink in Lombard.

The strategy for promoting a roller rink should be geared towards children. Put flyers up in the middle and high schools. Have the flyers not only advertising the roller rink but also advertising birthday parties there as well.
