According to sources I researched...Gary Hardwick of Carlsbad, California, USA, set a skateboard speed record (standing) of 100.66 KPH (62.55 mph) in 1998. He was wearing an Aerodynamic suit and helmet....

In 2007 Kevin Riemer pulled 127 kph out of his dropped speedboard skateboard, wearing leathers and a paragliding helmet. none of that fancy aero stuff. Kevin did not use vehicles to accelerate him only regular pushing (feet on road) and gravity.

Many have gone faster than Gary, but we leave the record in his name to remember him.

Danny way was pulled by rob dyrdek at 77 mph
