The difference is that target skateboards are completely fake. They suck and aren't even really wood. They are just made out of hard plastic and cheap metal.
Skateboard shops sell great skateboards made out of hard wood and great metal. You can see the difference just by looking at the board and by the way it feels when you ride it.
... actually it is real wood because I just finished breaking the tale practicing my ollies... how ever it is probably very cheap, poor quality pine wood. Guess Target just made money off of my wife... bastards! (Luckily purchased a real board from skate shop... just a few days later... costed more but now I can shred with out worries...)
